Mosaic Relief “Old Klaipėda”

The mosaic relief “Senoji Klaipėda” (Old Klaipėda) decorating a building at 4 Liepų St. was donated to the city by the company “Stemma Group” ( Sculptor – Gintautas Jonkus, architect – Vytenis Mazurkevičius). The mosaic relief depicts the most important motifs of the port city: besides the coat of arms of Klaipėda, you can see the Biržos Bridge, St. John’s and Reformed Church towers; recognize the skyline of Liepų street, and in the surrounding mosaic of colored granite the sun and boats can be seen. The mosaic was unveiled on July 28, 2016.
