Dragūnai club, an eclectic style building on Vydūno st. 13 in Jurbarkas, is part of Jurbarkas manor complex. In 2003 it was registered in the register of immovable cultural values and was declared as a state-protected object in 2005.
It is a one floor building of a rectangular plan with an attic, built along the street. In the central part of the building, there are five large rectangular windows with shutters, framed by ornate carved folk motifs with stylized triangular cornices; the vertical studs running under the windows are decorated with carved rhombuses. There are the two wooden open porches of the north-eastern facade, the window openings of their shelters are paired and have semicircular lintels; under- cornice parts are lagged vertically with openwork ornamented woodwork. Wooden crosses and wooden ledge planks are also ornamented with openwork. The fanlight window of the doorway on the southeast facade also has a semicircular lintel.
The dragoon club house could have been built after 1819 , when the manor house and the farmstead were moved to the current location further from the Nemunas and a road was built to it along the western bank of the Imsrė. Other sources indicate 1821 as the date of construction of the dragoon house.
During the time of independent Lithuania and after the war, this house (as one of four) belonged to the “Saulė” gymnasium. Later it was turned into a dwelling-house, and then it was turned into a library. Now it since 2019 it houses a private veterinary pharmacy and a veterinary enterprise.
