Object address: Muitinės gatvė, Jurbarkas, Lietuva

Municipality: Jurbarkas district

The bridge over the Mituva on the Jurbarkas-Smalininkai road, in the territory of the historical center of the city, was built in 1934. The total length of the bridge is 52 m. It consists of segmental arches of three spans. The bridge is supported by two reinforced concrete piers of oval cross-section tapering with a bench. The ribbed span of the monolithic reinforced concrete bridge is an uncut, beam-girder structure. The span consists of two main longitudinal beams of variable height with transverse diaphragms: a supporting beam at the top and a monolithic slab supporting the deck.

The bridge is placed on concreted cork trees. There are four partition walls, metal railings but there are no frames. Bridge sides are separated by concrete sides. On the northern side of the eastern bank of the bridge retaining wall, there is a cast concrete relief sign of Vytis, which has survived to this day. The bridge over the Mituva has been cherishing this sign of Vytis for 80 years.
