The Mansion of the Plateliai Manor is one of buildings of the former Plateliai Manor Farmstead. The Plateliai Manor Farmstead is an immoveable cultural object, located in the Plateliai Urban Park.

The Plateliai Manor was first mentioned in historical sources in the middle of the 15th century. It was situated on the Šventorkalnis Peninsula, next to the Plateliai Lake. The development of the Plateliai Manor Farmstead was started in its current location in the end of the 17th century.

The Plateliai Manor was the property of the Great Duchy of Lithuania until the end of the 18th century, serving as a gift to Lithuanian noblemen for their achievements in service. In the end of the 18th century, the town of Plateliai, along with the manor, became the private property of the Choiseul family. In 1940, having nationalised the mansion, a large amount of valuables and books were transported to Telšiai and now belong to the Samogitian Museum Alka.

The wooden mansion of the Plateliai Manor has burnt down during World War II, in 1943. The remains of the foundation now mark the location of the mansion. The park of the manor, 6.2 acres in size, can be found on the eastern side of the manor farmstead.
