An exclusive complex of buildings, found on 53 and 55 Liepų st., is the old butchery. It was constructed in 1914, based on the project of architect Walter Kleemann. Butchery buildings are all two floors high, have garrets and basements, and have a quadruple pitched roof. Its production buildings are further away from the street. The main structure within the production zone used to be the butchering station, which also had a small bell tower. A clock was placed under a curved copper tin roof.

The style of the building is influenced by late Art Nouveau. The buildings that stand outside, i.e. the pen and the warehouse, are of village architecture. The yard is paved with stone. Two administration-residential buildings stand between the production zone and the street. Klaipėda’s coat of arms in a cartouche can be located on 53 Liepų st. The director used to live in this building. There was also an office here.

A restaurant called Būrų stuba was located on the first floor of 55 Liepų st., while the second floor housed the masters. In 1930, the butchery was expanded. The building complex is included in the Register of Cultural Objects. In 2014, the building complex was rebuilt. The sports and health centre Impuls was set up.
