Sculpture “Žvejas” („Fisherman“)

At the quay of Danė river near Biržos bridge there is located one of the oldest sculptures of postwar Klaipėda – „Fisherman“ (sculptor – Kazys Kisielius, architect – Petras Šadauskas). Monumental figure of “Fisherman”, brought by wave to the high of several meters, stands on a square base. Sculpture is beautifully incorporated into the environment, here in the summer a fountain burbles.
