The building at 28 Liepų st. (former Aleksandro st.) in Klaipėda, where the Rėžulaitis family lived, became the location of a new commemorative plaque on July 24th, 2001, which was made by artist Albertas Danilevičius and which was dedicated to Endrius Rėžulaitis. It was the first monument of this kind to be dedicated to a cultural and civil activist from Lithuania Minor within the newly restored Republic of Lithuania.
E. Rėžulaitis was included into the Lithuanian national movement in the beginning of the 20th century. Starting in 1920, Rėžulaitis began to serve as the Prussian-Lithuanian General Secretary. He also established a shipping joint stock company called Sandėlis (Lith. Warehouse) and was its first director. Moreover, he worked as the Member of the Descant in the Klaipėda branch of the Bank of Lithuania. Lastly, in 1924, he was the judge of trade in the Klaipėda District Court.
