The Old Town Cemetery was established in 1820. Destroyed during World War II, it was finally ruined in the Soviet period, when Sculpture park was started to create in 1977.
This monument is dedicated to citizens of Klaipėda, buried there until 1944. The initiator of monument – association „Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Memellandkreise“.
