The antiaircraft hiding place was built from reinforced concrete during World War II. The latter facility was installed to protect the city residents from the bombers’ attacks. In October 1944 during the battles for Klaipėda City during the World War II, these objects were used by the city residents as hiding places from the bombers’ and artillery attacks.
The object is marked with a military heritage symbol.
